‘This show is a tribute to the women and men in history that by standing up for their beliefs, made the world a better place. An act of rebellion is a cry for freedom. Flamenco has survived by staying true to it’s roots but it has also survived because of the courage of the Flamenco artists that dared to add their unique twist on tradition. ShimiTree is excited to explore tradition tweaked by our unique talents!’- Estefanía La Ishi

This is a fantastic opportunity to study with Luis de la Tota, one of the most sought after Gitano performing artists on the flamenco scene! Luis is an enthusiastic, friendly, fun and accessible teacher. He embodies the spirit of flamenco and his dynamic energy is inspiring! The dance combinations la Ishi teaches are also extremely clear and accessible. Their classes are inclusive and perfect for both beginners and more experienced students. We had so much fun with them when they were here in April. Please come out and support these wonderful artists and treat yourself to a flamenco infusion.
